HUNDREDS ANSWER THE CALL FOR BACKUP FOR BOCA RATON POLICE FOUNDATION

Over 300 guests attended the Call for Backup Party on January 12 to support the Boca Raton Police Foundation at the home of Marc and Jennifer Bell to benefit the Boca Raton Police Services Department.  Over $50,000 was raised.

Guests were treated to exhibitions by the K9 Unit and Bomb Team Robots as well as tours of the Mobile Command Unit, Bomb Truck and a Motorcycle Unit display.

“Call for Backup marks our first official fundraising event.  Everyone came together to celebrate our officers and the impact we all collectively have on our community’s safety. Funds raised will enhance equipment, training and technology to impact officer readiness and enhance our quality of life. We look forward to making it an annual event,” says Debbie Levine, Boca Raton Police Foundation Executive Director.
