Philanthropists Barbara and Mike Soroker have announced a Matching Gift Challenge to benefit the Boca Raton Police Foundation. The Challenge was announced at the 4th Annual Breakfast with the Chief held at The Boca Raton on November 17, 2022. All gifts up to $50,000 will be matched dollar for dollar by the Sorokers until December 31, 2022.

Each contribution during this campaign will support the Boca Raton Police Foundation’s mission to acquire the newest and most up-to-date equipment, technology and training and fund community outreach programs to improve public safety, impact officer readiness, and enhance our quality of life.

“My wife and I are incredibly proud to support the Boca Raton Police Foundation,” says Mike. “We hope to inspire others to give and help ensure that Boca Raton remains a safe city with a modern, up-to-date police force.”

Mike and his wife Barbara founded Reliance Network LLC, a real estate software development company, in 2001, with Mike serving as CEO and now Chairman. As relatively new Floridians, both Barbara and Mike continue to prioritize their family and making a difference in the community where they now live.

The Boca Raton Police Foundation honored Barbara and Mike Soroker this past April for their significant contribution in 2021. “We are extremely grateful to the Sorokers for their ongoing generosity. The donations from this challenge will accelerate our ability to support the police officers who work tirelessly to protect and serve the City,” says Debbie Levine, Executive Director of the Boca Raton Police Foundation.
