The Boca Raton Police Foundation gathered with the Boca Raton Police Department, Boca Raton city council members and other dignitaries to celebrate the BRPD’s 100th anniversary at a VIP party held at The Addison on Sept. 18.
During the festivities Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer issued a proclamation naming Sept. 23, 2025 “Boca Raton Police Services Day.”
The gala included a three-level 100th birthday cake (which was cut by Chief Michele Miuccio), a display featuring the original minutes from the city meeting that created the BRPD, and various historic photos of officers.
All three K9 officers attended the event, with Ivan staying overtime to autograph the Foundation’s 2026 K9 calendar with his paw print. Copies of the calendar are available here.
