Witches, princesses and comic book characters descended on the Boca Raton Police Department for a scary good time. The Trunk or Treat party held on Oct. 24 delivered some scares and plenty of fun for the children of BRPD officers. Organizations decorated the trunks or hatchbacks of a vehicle in the Halloween theme of their choice. Children moved from trunk to trunk gathering candy while enjoying games and entertainment. The Boca Raton Police Foundation paid for food from two food trucks, drinks and prizes. The Foundation’s trunk, themed “You’ve Been Boo-ked,” took children through an imaginary booking process – even providing them with a photo from the experience.
