The Boca Raton Fire Department bested the city’s Police Department to win the Corporate/First Responders Cup on the second day of the inaugural Pickle For Police pickleball tournament.
ADT finished third, with Cole Metals taking the fourth place trophy.
Proceeds from the Boca Raton Police Foundation’s tournament will benefit the city’s police department.
The free family event featured a food truck, police specialty vehicles, local vendors, and a K-9 unit demonstration.
Pickle For Police launched on Friday with a professional tournament won by Casey Diamond.
That was the first professional tournament held at Patch Reef Park’s three-month old covered pickleball complex – the largest in Palm Beach County.
Pickle For Police is sponsored by Celsius, Cole Metals Group, Boca Raton Regional Hospital, and Alan Rose Philanthropy.
