BOCA RATON, Fla. (February 18, 2026) – The Boca Raton Police Foundation (BRPF) Board of Trustees unanimously elected Jeff Hollander its Chair.

A member of the BRPF since its inception, Hollander immediately went to work mapping a strategy to help convince the Boca Raton voters to pass a March 10 ballot measure providing for a new Boca Raton police headquarters near the Spanish River library.

“Our current police complex is run down and doesn’t serve our officers or the community as well as deserved,” Hollander said. “We intend to launch an informational campaign demonstrating to Boca residents why this project is so desperately needed and how it will better keep our community safe.”

Hollander replaces Alan Rose, who served as BRPF leader for the past three years.

Among many important accomplishments under Rose’s leadership, the Foundation donated $200,000 – the Foundation’s largest ever gift – to create Lauren’s House, the Police Department’s newly opened tactical training center at its 6500 building on Congress Ave.

“Alan did a tremendous job guiding the Foundation and raising money to fulfill the department needs,” Hollander said. “I can’t wait to build on his legacy.”

Finis Cole II, president of Cole Precious Metals Group, will serve as chair-elect.

“Jeff is the right person at the right time to lead our Foundation,” Cole said. “His vision will serve the community well.”

Hollander spent the bulk of his professional career at Hollander Sleep Products, a privately held manufacturer of household textile products marketing to all levels of distribution. He won numerous industry awards on the way to becoming the largest US supplier of bed pillows, mattress pads and down comforters.

He has been active in the community, serving on many non-profit boards – including those focused on improving education and healthcare, and ending food insecurity.

Craig Ehrnst will continue his role as Foundation Treasurer. Ehrnst is currently the treasurer of NCCI Holdings and serves as a Commissioner for the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District.

Cathy Klein, a leader of global strategy and transformation with Johnson Controls Security Products, is the new Foundation Secretary.
