On May 6 the Boca Raton Police Foundation underwrote the retirement party for former Boca Raton Police Chief Michele Miuccio held at Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant. More than 120 friends and family members celebrated Miuccio’s career and wished her well. Miuccio served Boca Raton for 37 years, becoming the Chief in 2020. During a ceremony Foundation Chair Jeff Hollander presented Miuccio with a plaque honoring her service. Former Boca Raton City Manager George Brown presented Miuccio with a shadow box filled with the badges she’d worn during her career. Exiting the party, attendees were treated to chocolate chip cookies adorned with Miuccio’s badge number.
